Kerry L. Murphy practices in the areas of estate planning, probate law, corporate law, business transactions, trusts, powers of attorney, probate administration, guardianships, conservatorships, real estate law, real estate transactions and taxation. He also prepares income tax returns for individuals, LLCs, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, trusts and estates, and he also prepares estate tax returns and gift tax returns. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1999. While he was in law school, he received the CALI Award (formerly American Jurisprudence Award) for earning the highest grade in his Estate Planning class. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1999. He received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1995. He is a member of the Columbia Estate Planning Council, Richland County Bar and South Carolina Bar Associations. In the South Carolina Bar, he is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section.
